CONTACTING PLAYERS AND LEAGUE INFORMATION:
All members of the league must have GroupMe to communicate through out the season with players and commish. If you do not have GroupMe you will not be allowed in the league. this assures that we will have the best form of conmunication with all our league members.
GROUPME CHAT RULES:
all memebers are to respect one another in the chat room. We know sometimes in the heat of the moment things happen and arguments occur but we advise everyone to respect one another while in the main chat or via DM's. if there are any issues with members Commissioners will be notify and player will be removed from chat and possible booted depending on the situation and warnings issued. Of course joking around is cool with one anther but we will not tolerator any hate or bullying to any of our members.
GAME FORMAT:
All games will be played with 7 minute quarters with no runoff on All Madden difficulty.
The Following Rules are a sim style of play and may be changed throughout the year to if anything new is found to keep the league running at a sim and fun style of playing to keep league as active as possible.
GAME SCHEDUALING:
When scheduling a game both players can communicate via Group me between DM’s. The Advance schedule will be Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9pm est. all games should be played before advanced time unless there was arrangements made by an administrator to push back advance time. How scheduling will work is both players talk out their personal schedules between each other and work off that. If one player is very limited on when they can play or is out of town the player with the open schedule with get a sim win. This is to be all discussed via DM’s in group me and any issues can be addressed to the administrators for help on deciding. We try to do our best to get all games played on time and everyone to be able to play each game.
PLAY CALLING:
Play calling should be based off your team strengths, your play calling and scheme is all up to you. This being said mixing up play calls is a must. We do not permit running 2-3 money plays over and over all game long just to win. Abusing money plays or one route all game will not be tolerated and will come with a warning for 1st infractions and 2nd infraction will result in player being booted from the league. With this in place there are certain situations and times when we understand multiple calls of the same plays or concept. For example there will be no dictation of what plays are called based on certain situations. For example if you ran a toss left on 1st down and the defense shifts to the right side of the field thinking you won’t run left again by all means take what the defense gives you. Your play calling is based off scheme and what the defense is giving up just like the NFL. What we don’t want is people abusing certain money plays all game and making the game less fun for other opponents.
NO HUDDLE RULE:
As of right now No huddle will be allowed to play to certain people strengths and scheme. With the please note you still have to obey the same play calling rules as listed above when running no huddle. Running no huddle does not allow you to run 2 plays all drive. If we notice anyone taking advantage of the no huddle rules a warning will be issued. 2nd warning will result in being booted. If we notice as glitches with the no huddle system when the game drops we will revise the rule as needed.
MOTION SNAPPING ON OFFENSE:
You can motion players on offense any time you want but all players must be completely set before snapping the ball. We do not allow motion snapping boost of any kind to obtain advantages on offense. This also includes motion a WR or TE behind the line to set up better run blocking. All players must set before the snap with the acceptation of auto motion built in plays. With smart glass built into Madden it will be easy to determine if a play had built in motion or if the user motion snapped to obtain an advantage.
FORMATION SUBS:
We are a sim league and do not allow any unordinary subs to be used in madden that would not be seen on Sunday or that will cause any kind of glitches. With this said any formation sub allowed using the right stick at the play call screen is allowed and using common sense most formation subs are allowed with the following acceptations. Under no circumstances should a WR be placed at TE. This is cheesy and will be followed with 1 warning and 1 only. All other subs are permitted unless there is report of abuse of certain formation in which case the administrators will talk and decide weather or not to ban other subs.
GLITCHES ON OFFESNSE:
The following glitches are not permitted on offense during league play:
Route Swapping, Face Catching, Rocket Catching, Swerve user catching, Flip the play out of the huddle to speed up huddle breaks, out of position subs causing exploited routes, FB pitch back glitch or any other exploitations or AI glitch plays that may be in the game.
MAKE SHIFT SCREENS:
Make shift screens of any kind are not allowed during league play. When calling a screen the screen must be run as is meaning if you call a HB screen you must throw to the HB if you call a WR screen you must throw to the WR. Make shift screen where you hot route another WR to catch the screen from the other side of the field during a HB screen or hot routing a RB to catch a WR screen is illegal during league play and 1st violation will result in a warning 2nd will result in being booted. The reason we don’t allow make shift screens because they exploit the AI from covering the receivers on the play and cause confusing with cpu controlled players. If the screen is not there and covered you have the option to throw the ball away or take off with the QB. But also note you can note set up a screen and use that as a QB power/sweep play the play has to actually play out and result in being covered before you can take off and run with the ball.
4TH DOWN RULE:
You can only go for a 4th down in the following situations, when your down by 2 or more scores in the 4th quarter or inside your opponents 10 yard line on 4th and 1 or less. All other 4th down attempts should result in punting or field goals. This also applies to any fake field goal or punt attempts. We stress on making this league fun and enjoyable to all members and players.
STAT PADDING AND RUNNING UP THE SCORE:
We are a sim style league with that being said we strive on making the league as fun and enjoyable as possible. When playing an opponent and score seem out of reach late in the game the winning team should be running out the clock not looking to run up the score on an opponent. Also when in the lead late in the game with score out of reach it is a good idea to sub out starters as we do not advise stat padding to boost xps to one single player. Win and lose like a man and make the game enjoyable for all who play. Throwing to one WR or running the ball 100 times just to obtain xp’s to boost your player is cheesy and will result in a warning. We understand you have to take what the defense gives you but if the game is out of reach late in the 3rd qt or 4th quarter at any time this would be the ideal time to sub in the back ups and play ball control. Blow outs will happen from time to time but if your intention trying to embarrass players by large amount of unnecessary score you will be booted right away.
BLITZING:
You can use any style of blitzing on defense just as long as it does not involve any cheating, or AI manipulation. All Blitz should be slide or max protectable, this means setting up illegal nanos which cannot be blocked with result in a warning for 1st infraction and booted for 2nd infraction.
PASS COVERAGE:
You must always have 3 people rushing at all times. This mean 3 people must have a blitz angle pre snap on every defensive play. We do not allow FAG defense where a player is dropping all the D-line off the line for max coverage. There is no set rules on which players blitz but the rush must be within the guidelines of the blitzing rule and be slide able or max protectable.
MOVING AROUND PLAYERS ON DEFENSE:
You cannot manually move multiple players around causing any cheese or AI manipulation. All shifts and movement should be via the control adjustments that are permitted in madden other then the player you are usering. You have freedom to line up your user anywhere on the field as long as it does not set up any nano's or AI glitches.. Again we are all trying to have fun and simulate to our best to what we see on Sundays.
BLOCKING KICKS:
You cannot manual block field goals or extra points. Some people have master running off the edge of the line getting a head start and time the kick perfectly which is cheesy and will come with a warning. If a cpu player blocks a kick that is fine just as so long you do not do any cheesy set ups to cause this to happen. This also goes for punts as well. You can only move your player at the snap of the ball only.
GLITCHES ON DEFENSE:
The following glitches are not permitted on offense during league play:
Nano Blitzing, Suction Blitz, Shake Blitz, Left Trigger hold Blitz (Holding the left trigger for 2 seconds after the snap to confuse the O-line and let players obtain instant heat.
ROSTER REQUIREMENTS:
All teams must be have at least 50 players on their roster at all times with the following requirements in the depth charts: 2 qbs, 3 rbs, 5 wrs 3 TE’s, all other positions are open to players needs and schemes. You do not need to carry a FB but if you do not want to. The reason for carrying 3 TE’s is because we do not want to see WR’s or RB’s used at TE at no point of league play.
UPGRADING PLAYERS IN CFM:
Spending your xp's is a huge part of your CFM experinces and we want you to have fun and build your team but there are 3 attrbutes you are not allowed to touch to keep things as sim as possbilbe. In Real life you will never see a player improve the the following so they have be banned from upgrading.
1. Speed
2. Acceleration
3. Jumping
if any of the 3 attributes are incresed throughout out any time of the CFM you will automaticly be booted with no warning. We don't want to see MUT teams on the filed we want to keep it as fair as possible with upgrades.
